The TypeParis evening Talks (in english) open its doors at 19:00 at le Tank, Paris.
Our free talks open to the public will include two speakers: graphic designer as well the weekly #typeparis19 international guest critic. The venue is limited to 130 people, after this limit, you will be added to the waiting list, and your entry will not be fully guaranteed. Our Talks will be given in English, no livestream, but available videos at a later date. Being present on the spot is the best way to miss nothing. Meanwhile, as the #tptalks19 are organized in Paris, France, most of attendees will be Parisians. Le Français sera largement employé par les participants lors de l’inscription et des échanges nombreux durant la soirée.

Dan Reynolds is a type designer at LucasFonts in Berlin. He’s also a design historian, with a focus on foundries from Germany’s imperial era. In January, Dan passed his doctoral examinations at the Braunschweig University of Art. In terms of old work, he spent seven years at Linotype and then freelanced as a designer or writer for clients like FontFont, Indian Typefoundry, MyFonts.com, Photo-Lettering, and Typejockeys. Dan cofounded the first branch of the modern Typostammtisch meet-ups movement.
Mathieu Réguer is an independent typeface designer based in Paris. Mathieu is graduated in communication visuelle at École Duperré, as well in création typographique at École Estienne. In 2008, he received his MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading (UK). Since then, he designing typefaces for brands and cultural institutions as well as developing and engineering types. Mathieu Réguer is one of the founders of the typeface design programme TypeParis launched in 2015.
