They will present the results to conclude this fifth edition of TypeParis on Wednesday 13 July 2022, 15:30. Language English mostly, partially in French. As it’s a free event, online advance booking will not assure you entrance if you arrive later than 15:50. Following the concept “first come, first served,” we fill out the space up to 100 persons.

Mathieu Réguer is an independent typeface designer based in Paris. He designed and produced custom font families for institutions and brands such as the French State, the Tasmanian West Coast, Culture Amp, Evolved by Nature or World Rugby. Mathieu enjoys programming tools and taking fonts apart. He is one of the founders of the typeface design programme at TypeParis, and has been a core instructor since the first session in 2015.
Born in Barcelona, Gina Serret is an independent designer, calligrapher and letterer currently based in Paris. In 2011 she received her Master in Advanced Typography at EINA (Barcelona) and later, in 2015, she attended at the first Annual Course of Calligraphy at Visions (Barcelona). Her love to Calligraphy and Lettering brought her to become an independent designer specialized in these disciplines.
Jean François Porchez
Founder of Typofonderie, type director of ZeCraft, Jean François Porchez is one of the pioneers of digital typography. Transmitter of knowledge and discoverer of talents, teamwork is at the heart of his concerns. It is also for these reasons that he launched TypeParis in 2015. He was awarded the Prix Charles Peignot in 1998 and numerous prizes for his typefaces. Introduced to French Who’s Who in 2009. In 2014, Perrousseaux publishes his monograph. Knight in the order of Arts and Letters in 2015. The President of France, Emmanuel Macron use his typefaces for his communication since 2017.
Malou Verlomme is a French independent type designer creating retail and custom typefaces. His typeface Camille has the honour of being part of the collection at France’s Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP). In 2016 he designed the Johnston100 typeface for TfL, London’s new underground typeface. After Setting up the foundry LongType, and working for 5 years at Monotype, he is now working under his own name. His retail typefaces include Ionic N°5, Macklin, Madera as well as Ecam and Totem.
Marc Rouault is a French independent typeface designer based in Zürich (CH). After being an in-house type designer at W&cie in Paris for a few years, he studied at KABK Type&Media in 2016. He is now leading commissioned and self-initiated projects. Among other works, he designed custom typefaces for Formula 1, Tour de France and Brentford FC, and published two typefaces with Sharp Type.
Julie Soudanne is type designer based in Paris. Since 2018, she develops jli Type Studio through different custom typefaces projects mainly in the fields of luxury, gastronomy, culture, and sport; She is also working on personal retail typefaces that are in progress.
