After graduating from the first Art School in Rome, he studied Fine Arts, Architecture and Environmental Design at the Parsons School of Design in New York.
He worked as an architect in New York, where he lived for five years and, in Italy, he worked as a set designer at the Verona Arena and at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome with Franco Zeffirelli and Edoardo Sanchi.
In 1999 he started working at studio FM milano of which he became a partner in 2000. He taught visual communication at the Polytechnic of Milan and still teaches Visual Identity at the master program of the Milan Polytechnic School of Design; in 2007 he held a visual communication workshop for foreign students at the Naba Art and Design Academy in Milan and was for one year scientific coordinator of the Master’s course in Visual Identity of the IED Istituto Europeo di Design. In 2018 he held a Visual Design laboratory at the Raffles Istituto Moda e Design in Milano.
During the span of his graphic design career he lectured in various national and international event (European Design Award in Athens, 2007 and 2013 – Naba Art and Design Academy, 2007 – Design Overview in Tirana, 2014 – Domus Academy, 2015 and 2018 – IED Istituto Europeo di Design, 2015 – AIAP Graphic Design Conference Milano, 2016 – NID Nuovo Istituto Design, 2016 and 2019 – Raffles Istituto Moda e Design in Milano, 2018)
From 2007 to 2012 he was the Art Director of Riders Magazine.
Since 2000 he is member of AIAP (Italian Association of Visual Communication.
