First TPTalks of the summer! It felt good to be back in Le Tank again. TypeParis was already off to a good start, and we were very excited to hear from our first two speakers: Rejane Dal Bello and Alex Trochut.

Rejane is a Brazilian designer and illustrator, currently based in London. Her design studio specialises in brand identity, illustration, and editorial, for national and international clients focusing on the Corporate, Cultural & Non-Profit sectors.

‍

I enjoyed getting an insight into Rejane, her personality, her background, and her considerable talent. She was bold and unapologetic, and this shows in her work. She was raised in a family of doctors and dentists, and it was interesting to observe a passion for humanitarian projects, aimed at helping those in need.

‍

Alex is a Spanish designer, who established his own design studio in Barcelona before relocating to New York City. Through his design, illustration and typographic practice he has developed an intuitive way of working that has resulted in his expressive visual style. We were introduced to his work, unique way of approaching projects, and mesmerising use of line and shape, alongside varied techniques such as 3D, to create striking visuals.
