After more than one month of hard working, Week #5 was already here, so the programme was about to finalize! But before that, we had a short but intense week with last global reviews to correct, polish and complete as much as possible the two minimal weights required for the final delivery.
For a proper ending, we had the chance to welcome Erik van Blokland as the last international guest critic of TypeParis19 edition. Erik was extremely helpful for the attendees, helping them to fix last-minute mistakes as well as setting out many improvements students could apply in a future, even after TypeParis ends.
Furthermore, having the final day in mind, it was also necessary to introduce and work on specimens and screen presentations. It was that special moment when attendees had the opportunity to use their own font and check it out from the perspective of the user. It also helps to catch ultimate mistakes.
The full TypeParis staff is highly proud of the energy and effort of every attendee to reach the end of the programme!
And the final day came! All the attendees presented their projects to the public, among which there was also an extraordinary jury formed by the guests Julien Priez, Sandrine Nugues, Benjamin Blaess and Ilya Naumov with the core instructors Mathieu Réguer and Jean François Porchez .
After the jury deliberation, it was time to hand over the deserved diplomas to all the attendees and to go out and chill with the farewell party. À bientôt!
