Fuqua
Fuqua is a text typeface dedicated to the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
It references the character and personality of its people, its industrial history, and the identity of its football team, the almighty Steelers. The design is meant to be tough, sturdy, welcoming, and friendly.
The Heinz History Center is the largest history museum in Pennsylvania, located in the heart of Pittsburgh. It preserves and presents the regional history of Western Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh. Fuqua could be used as a branding typeface for the Heinz History Center or a typeface to be used in exhibitions and publications published by the museum.
The black and stencil versions of Fuqua have potential for the Steelers. Fuqua Black and Stencil could be used in the stadium for large banners, on team apparel and equipment, and in the team’s publications and website.
