Diana Ovezea is a Romanian-born type designer and typographer, currently living in Zwolle, The Netherlands. Her nickname is eagle-eye, and she is an alumni of the Type and Media class of 2013. Diana has worked for and with multiple type foundries, which has founded a broad experience in planning, developing, and proofing complex font families, as well as designing type specimens.
Since 2021, Diana co-runs Blast Foundry with Barbara Bigosińska, where they create new typefaces and offer custom type solutions to agencies and clients across various industries. As Blast Foundry, they consistently provide type development and quality assurance services to other foundries, such as CoType, Sociotype, and ITF.
The 3-week type design course starts on 5 April and ends 24 April 2027.
After 10 years in Paris, we reinvent our type design programme. We go from 6 weeks to 3 weeks, while maintaining the fundamentals that make TypeParis’ reputation.
The course will take place in Menorca, Spain for the first time. In 2027, we offer two levels, Foundation and Expert, which allows you to discover type design, or to gain expertise after an initial training.
