Martyna Wędzicka-Obuchowicz (WEDZICKA) is an independent graphic designer, lecturer and speaker based in Gdańsk, Poland. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, she has over 15 years of experience working across visual identities, posters, editorial design and digital media, often combining graphic design with art and experimentation. Her work is characterized by bold visual language, controlled chaos and a constant search for new forms of communication. She collaborates mainly with cultural institutions, festivals and international brands. Since 2023, she has been a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), becoming the first Polish woman invited to join the organization. She currently serves as President of AGI Poland. Her work has received numerous awards and distinctions, and she regularly participates in international design juries, exhibitions, lectures and workshops.
Apply before 14 January for the three-week type design course starting 5 April and ending 24 April 2027.
After 10 years in Paris, we reinvent our type design programme. We go from 6 weeks to 3 weeks, while maintaining the fundamentals that make TypeParis’ reputation.
The course will take place in Menorca, Spain for the first time. In 2027, we offer two levels, Foundation and Expert, which allows you to discover type design, or to gain expertise after an initial training.
