Graphic designer and typographer born in Paris in 1987, Hélène Marian practices a dual graphic between typographical rigor and hand-painted lettering. DMA illustration graduate in 2008 and then of the DSAA création typographique at école Estienne in 2010, she established her own company after her 5 years of experience atelier Doc Levin. She works for the most varied clients: cultural institutions, starred chef, architects, labels of experimental music, winegrowers, researchers.
She draws or conceptualize the artistic direction of custom-made fonts for her clients (the Saumuroise, Viparis with Maxime Fittes, mahJ with Malou Verlomme) in parallel with a hand made approach (painting in letters and lettering). His work has been exhibited, published, and rewarded.
Designer graphique et typographe née à Paris en 1987, Hélène Marian pratique un graphisme duel entre rigueur typographique et lettrages peints à la main. Diplômée du DMA illustration en 2008 puis du DSAA création typographique de l’école Estienne en 2010, elle s’établit à son compte après 5 ans d’expérience au sein de l’atelier Doc Levin, et travaille pour les clinets les plus variés: institutions culturelles, chef étoilé, architectes, label de musique expérimentale, vignerons, chercheurs.
Elle dessine ou réalise la direction artistique de fontes sur mesure pour ses clients (la Saumuroise, Viparis avec Maxime Fittes, mahJ avec Malou Verlomme) en parallèle d’une approche manuelle (peinture en lettres et lettrages). Son travail a été exposé, publié, et récompensé.

Our conference (in English) brings together typography enthusiasts, graphic designers, art directors and type designers. We seek to explain how typography has a visible impact on the world around us. Come to Paris to attend talks by international speakers around graphic design, web design, motion design, publishing, visual identity, communication and type design. It is important to create platforms to let various universes communicate about their love of typography in their everyday practise.
