Lucas Sharp is an American typeface designer and artist currently living and working in Granada, Spain. After graduating from Parsons in New York City in 2010, Lucas worked as a draftsman at the Darden Studio under Joshua Darden. Lucas founded Pagan & Sharp Studio with Juan Carlos Pagan in 2011, where he practiced typeface design and branding. Lucas recently partnered with Chantra Malee to form Sharp Type studio in 2015. At Sharp Type, Lucas has designed custom typefaces for major global brands and the Hillary Clinton 2016’s presidential campaign.
