Alexandre Dimos is a graphic designer, publisher and curator born in France in 1978. He cofounded the studio deValence in 2001 in Paris. The studio works for cultural and private clients in the field of publishing, design, and contemporary art. In 2008, Alexandre Dimos established the publishing house B42 and publishes books devoted to design, architecture, graphic design, typography and human sciences.
He is involved in reflections on contemporary graphic design.After an art residency at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto he made a research about contemporary japanese graphic design and curated the exhibition “Japanese graphic design today” at Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich in 2024. He is a member of the Alliance graphique internationale (AGI).
