Alisa Nowak is a native german type designer based in France. After her studies of visual communication in Germany, she was specialized in designing typefaces in the context of formation post-diplôme typographie & langage at École supérieure d’art et de design d’Amiens in France. The typeface which she produced during this year was published at Typetogether and won several prizes. From 2012 to 2015 she worked at Fontyou, the platform of typographic co-creation. Today she works as type designer for BlackFoundry in Paris and also teaches typography in Amiens.
Alisa Nowak est une créatrice de caractères allemande, installée en France. Après ses études de graphisme en Allemagne, elle s’est spécialisée dans la création de caractères dans le cadre du post-diplôme typographie & langage à l’école supérieure d’art et de design d’Amiens. Son caractère développé pendant cette formation a été publié chez la fonderie Typetogether et a remporté plusieurs prix et publications. De 2012 à 2015 elle a participé au projet de la co-création typographique chez Fontyou et aujourd’hui travaille en tant que créatrice de caractères chez BlackFoundry à Paris. Depuis 2012 elle enseigne la typographie à l’ÉSAD d’Amiens.
