Özge Güven is a visual communication designer based in Istanbul. After many years in the advertising industry working with global and local brands as a graphic designer, creative director and art director, she founded her own studio. Her work centers on visual identity design and extends across communication campaigns, book and exhibition design, packaging, motion graphics, typography, and tactile or experimental works. Through design, she explores ways of understanding and expressing the world — treating her practice as both observation and translation.
In academia, she has taught Art Direction in Advertising and currently teaches Research for Design. Her ongoing research focuses on design education, and for over a decade she has been actively involved in organizing summer workshops developed in collaboration with universities as part of a non-profit foundation project.
Her works have received international awards from D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Golden Drum, and Epica. She has served on juries for major global festivals, including Cannes Lions, China International Poster Biennial, and Golden Drum. She was named one of Turkey’s ‘Women to Watch’ in design.
She is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).
